There are so many options for professional development out there and I’m grateful for your support of my continued growth and learning!

To help contribute to the team and institution in a meaningful way, as well as help me strengthen the skills I need to make an impact, I’d love to take part in the DRG Group’s Rising Stars program.

This program is run by the DRG Group, a leading organization in the field of donor relations founded by Lynne Wester. The program will entail 10 months of training, with a DRG Group team member leading a discussion each month, and work within my cohort as we discuss real-world challenges together. I will have access to facilitators that are the best in donor relations at a variety of institutions across the sector.

I think enrollment in the Rising Stars program is a great opportunity for me to learn the best and most efficient practices that I can immediately begin implementing for our team. 

My participation will cost $2,000 and it’s all online, so there’s no cost for travel or hotel. It takes 10 months to complete with about 3-4 hours of discussion and course work per month. I will ensure my duties are covered while I’m participating, and will take detailed notes for our team.
