I was born to unsuspecting parents in 1971 and told as a child that girls were not good at math or science. That cost me a lot of opportunities, so I started a nonprofit in the living room of my apartment when I was 26 years old to empower girls in math, science, engineering and technology. Back then the idea of asking a wealthy person for a big gift was as appealing as jumping out of an airplane but pretty soon I was confidently raising 6 figure gifts and we were funding our dreams.
It took a lot of inspiration and a truck-load of guts to get to where I am today.
I built this course with Lynne because I was sick and tired of people struggling with surveys and not finding a solution, and because I wanted people to know that there is a solution. Not a possible solution but a sure-shot, carved-in-stone solution.
