Director of Development

The Director of Development leads the development team and plays a central role in advancing CIEL’s ambitious fundraising agenda in support of its strategic plan. The Director of Development is responsible for growing and managing a robust portfolio of grants primarily from foundations, alongside some government (non-US) and individual donor funding. This role drives strategy, cultivates relationships, and oversees all aspects of grant writing and reporting to secure critical resources that support our work to protect human rights and the environment. Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Marketing and Constituent Experience, the Executive Director will lead the Donor Experience, Annual Giving, and Advancement Marketing and Communications teams as part of a unified strategy to strengthen the lifelong relationship between Stony Brook University and its 220,000+ alumni. This role is responsible for increasing alumni engagement and support, shaping a cohesive annual giving strategy, enhancing stewardship practices, and aligning messaging and outreach across Advancement. The Executive Director will partner closely with the AVP; Constituent Experience team leads, including Alumni Relations and Events; and other teams across the Advancement division to ensure these interconnected areas work in sync to deepen constituent relationships and advance divisional goals. Chief Development Officer

Assistant Director, Stewardship - Scholarships and Student Success

The Stewardship team at the Oregon State University Foundation creates experiences, demonstrates impact, and builds communities that inspire alumni and friends to join OSU in making the world a better place. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Stewardship, the Assistant Director works collaboratively across the Foundation and university to execute a comprehensive strategy for stewarding donors to scholarships and other student success programs at OSU. Fundraising & Development Coordinator

The Fundraising & Development Coordinator will support the Eastern Region of Virginia, including the Richmond and Charlottesville metropolitan areas and communities eastward. This hybrid position requires occasional travel to a DePaul office within the region and to other locations as needed.

Assistant Director of Donor Engagement and Alumni Relations

Working under general direction, the assistant director of donor engagement and alumni relations will direct, manage, and oversee a comprehensive donor and alumni engagement program for the College of Arts and Sciences and its $300+ million endowment. Duties include working collegially with university alumni and donor relations, the Case Alumni Association, and University Marketing and Communications to manage events, publications, and programs for advancement initiatives, as well as managing engagement efforts encompassing an international pool of alumni and donors. Director of Gift Documentation

Reporting to the Senior Director of Donor Relations and Prospect Development, the Director of Gift Documentation acts as the university’s central resource for donor gift documentation and collaborates closely with gift officers, Advancement Services, University counsel, Virginia Tech Foundation counsel, and financial offices to facilitate the documentation, creation of, and management of endowments, current-use funds, and related amendments. The Director is responsible for understanding and adhering to policy while making recommendations for policy updates, as needed. In addition, the Director will ensure alignment with legal and operational guidelines. This position will work to streamline processes, provide individual and group trainings, create and maintain resource materials, and create executive briefings in support of gift documentation workflows.
