The Community Foundation of Western North Carolina (CFWNC), founded in 1978, is a public charity with a mission to inspire philanthropy and mobilize resources to enrich lives and communities in the eighteen counties of Western North Carolina, including the Qualla Boundary. CFWNC manages charitable funds for individuals, businesses and charitable organizations, and makes grants toward the region’s pressing needs and promising opportunities.

The Donor Relations Officer provides frontline customer service and support to new and existing fundholders. This position reports to the Senior Donor Relations Officer. This is an in-person position and successful candidates will live in or relocate to Western North Carolina.

The Director of Development leads the development team and plays a central role in advancing CIEL’s ambitious fundraising agenda in support of its strategic plan. The Director of Development is responsible for growing and managing a robust portfolio of grants primarily from foundations, alongside some government (non-US) and individual donor funding. This role drives strategy, cultivates relationships, and oversees all aspects of grant writing and reporting to secure critical resources that support our work to protect human rights and the environment. The Director of Development works collaboratively across departments to align funding with strategic priorities and ensure the long-term sustainability of our work. This role reports directly to the COO, currently has two direct development team reports, and works closely with the CEO, programs, and finance staff. The role combines high level leadership, strategic vision, and planning, while also being rooted in supporting the day-to-day delivery of development portfolio management as needed.

Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Marketing and Constituent Experience, the Executive Director will lead the Donor Experience, Annual Giving, and Advancement Marketing and Communications teams as part of a unified strategy to strengthen the lifelong relationship between Stony Brook University and its 220,000+ alumni. This role is responsible for increasing alumni engagement and support, shaping a cohesive annual giving strategy, enhancing stewardship practices, and aligning messaging and outreach across Advancement. The Executive Director will partner closely with the AVP; Constituent Experience team leads, including Alumni Relations and Events; and other teams across the Advancement division to ensure these interconnected areas work in sync to deepen constituent relationships and advance divisional goals. The Executive Director will provide strategic oversight for donor experience, marketing, and annual giving initiatives, ensuring alignment with the mission, vision, and philanthropic priorities of the university and Advancement division. This includes building a best-in-class program to craft compelling storytelling, develop integrated marketing campaigns, and deliver a consistent, high-quality constituent experience that fosters long-term engagement and giving. The role also will lead efforts to evaluate and evolve programs using data, constituent feedback, and industry best practices.

The Chief Development Officer/Secretary for Stewardship will be responsible for creating, implementing and overseeing a comprehensive stewardship program focused on promoting a culture of gratitude, generosity and active participation in the life of the Church.

This position is part of the senior leadership team composed of the Vicar General, Auxiliary Bishops, Chief Financial Officer and other key department leaders and is responsible for setting the strategic priorities of the Archdiocese Development office to include the annual Catholic Services Appeal, major donor gifts and cultivation events that include the archbishop, donor recognition and communication. This role will assist parishes in integrating stewardship principles into their administrative and pastoral initiatives, providing resources and guidance for ongoing efforts.

Valencia College is looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join the Valencia College Foundation Team. In the Director, Donor Relations & Experiences position you will have the opportunity to manage and enhance the stewardship and recognition of donors to Valencia College Foundation. This role is essential in ensuring donors are informed, appreciated, and connected to the impact of their philanthropic investments in student success.

B.O.S.S. is seeking a Major Donor & Institutional Giving Officer (MDO). Reporting to the Director of Development & Communications, the (MDO) is a pivotal member of the Development team, responsible for securing philanthropic investment to help advance the organization’s mission of accelerating equitable access to renewable energy solutions. The role leads the cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of a focused portfolio of major individual donors ($5,000+) and institutional funders—including foundations, corporations, and public/government.

The Stewardship team at the Oregon State University Foundation creates experiences, demonstrates impact, and builds communities that inspire alumni and friends to join OSU in making the world a better place. Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Stewardship, the Assistant Director works collaboratively across the Foundation and university to execute a comprehensive strategy for stewarding donors to scholarships and other student success programs at OSU. This includes managing the Student Success Society, a recognition program honoring those who support students through cumulative gifts of $50,000 or more for scholarships, graduate fellowships or student programs; managing scholarship stewardship activities for donors supporting centrally managed scholarships; and working with colleges to ensure unit-based scholarship stewardship is coordinated across campus and aligned with best practices. Additionally, this position serves as the back-up point of contact for the Foundation’s gift agreement process.

The Fundraising & Development Coordinator will support the Eastern Region of Virginia, including the Richmond and Charlottesville metropolitan areas and communities eastward. This hybrid position requires occasional travel to a DePaul office within the region and to other locations as needed.

The Fundraising & Development Coordinator will build relationships through interpersonal connections, manage grant and foundation cultivation, and manage and execute projects designed to cultivate passionate followers of DePaul by inviting charitable contributions through individual donations, grants, corporate sponsorships, planned gifts, and events. Responsibilities include research and prospect identification, cultivation and communication, proposal development, donor stewardship, database management, communications and outreach activities, and development-related volunteer relations. This person must be able to represent the organization well in the community and work collaboratively in all settings.

Working under general direction, the assistant director of donor engagement and alumni relations will direct, manage, and oversee a comprehensive donor and alumni engagement program for the College of Arts and Sciences and its $300+ million endowment. Duties include working collegially with university alumni and donor relations, the Case Alumni Association, and University Marketing and Communications to manage events, publications, and programs for advancement initiatives, as well as managing engagement efforts encompassing an international pool of alumni and donors. The assistant director works closely with the dean of the college, associate and vice deans, managers, and all directors to assist with donor and alumni engagement, with a focus on stewardship of major gift fundraising. The assistant director will plan engagement activities and events for the department which will include executing stewardship activities to recognize and engage college alumni, donors, and friends to encourage their financial support.

The Director of Donor Relations leads donor engagement and stewardship efforts for System Advancement promoting consistent and thoughtful recognition of donors in alignment with campus-based strategies and industry best practices, This role ensures high-quality implementation of donor relations programs that foster interaction with donors at all levels across the CU system.

The Director is provides functional and operational leadership over donor relations efforts and manages fiscal and human resources of the Front-Line Support Services team, including, but not limited to:

- Baseline acknowledgement, receipting, and endowment financial reporting
- System funds stewardship, including support of Treasury managed donor funds
- Multi-campus stewardship plans for select donors
- Two system-wide giving societies, partnering with the Principal Gifts team on presidential engagement strategies
- System Donor Events, including activities that advance the university’s strategy, image and reputation
- Technology leveraged and standards lead for System-wide donor relations excellence

We’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to focus on discovering and qualifying new sales opportunities, through email and phone, with introductions and education, across our target customer base: U.S based nonprofits, foundations, associations and schools, with revenues between $10M and $100M per year.

Reporting to the Senior Director of Donor Relations and Prospect Development, the Director of Gift Documentation acts as the university’s central resource for donor gift documentation and collaborates closely with gift officers, Advancement Services, University counsel, Virginia Tech Foundation counsel, and financial offices to facilitate the documentation, creation of, and management of endowments, current-use funds, and related amendments. The Director is responsible for understanding and adhering to policy while making recommendations for policy updates, as needed. In addition, the Director will ensure alignment with legal and operational guidelines. This position will work to streamline processes, provide individual and group trainings, create and maintain resource materials, and create executive briefings in support of gift documentation workflows. This role requires a balance between personalized donor interactions, strong collaboration skills, and meticulous process management to ensure both a positive donor experience while ensuring a lasting institutional legacy. The Director will play a pivotal role in donor engagement, crafting timely documentation that honors both donor intent and Virginia Tech’s strategic vision.
