Naming Infrastructure: Gift Acceptance & Naming Policies

Comprehensive and thoughtful policies and procedures must be in place before gift conversations involving namings can occur with donors. In this segment, we will discuss the importance of supportive infrastructure that addresses issues such as the life of a naming, donor approval (or disapproval!) of namings, morality clauses, and more. To ensure expectations are met (for both the donor and the organization) and the naming experience is as smooth and efficient as possible, we will explore the operational dos and don’ts every organization needs to know.
