At DRG, we know that leadership can feel a little lonely sometimes. That’s why we created the Distinguished Leaders Program—to bring together experienced professionals for real-time support, peer connection, and shared growth.
“The Distinguished Leaders Program is a transformative experience. It wasn’t just another meeting or networking event—it felt like true mentorship,” says Tlisa Northcutt, one of our very first participants in the program. “Being with a group of peers who were at a similar leadership level meant we could have open, honest conversations and work through real challenges as they happened. That dynamic turned the cohort into something much deeper than a professional group—it became a trusted circle.”

From the beginning, Tlisa said she felt the strength of that community. Her cohort became a sounding board, a place to test ideas, ask questions, and get perspective from people who understood the weight of the decisions she was making. And even after the official program wrapped, the connections kept going. Tlisa and a fellow cohort member still meet monthly to check in and support each other—proof that the relationships built in the program really last.
We’re also beyond excited to share that Tlisa recently stepped into a new role as President of the University of Alaska Foundation and Chief Development Officer for the University of Alaska System. We couldn’t be happier for her and are so proud to celebrate this next step in her leadership journey.
The Distinguished Leaders Program is more than a professional development series—it’s a space for real connection, shared wisdom, and meaningful growth. Whether you’re navigating complex board dynamics, celebrating big wins, or just need someone who gets it, this program is here to support you.
Applications for 2025-2026 cohort programs are open now through June 15! If you’re ready to grow alongside a group of thoughtful, experienced peers, we’d love to have you join us.
